Dr. Daoud was born in Lebanon. At the age of
eighteen he moved to the Ukraine to attend the Crimea State
University School of Dentistry
where
he earned his D.M.D. degree. While he was there he had the
opportunity to learn the Russian language and the Ukrainian
culture. After graduating in 2000, Dr. Daoud came to the United
States and earned another D.M.D. degree from Boston
University-Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He also attended the
Medical College of Georgia from March 2006 through December 2006 and
is certified to perform implant dentistry.
He has been in the United States for seven years,
and after graduation worked in a clinic in Livonia before joining
Dr. Dahl’s practice in 2004. Dr. Daoud became a US citizen in 2005
and speaks four languages: English, Arabic, Russian, and Lebanese.
When Dr. Dahl met Dr. Daoud in 2004 he felt that
he would be a welcome addition to the practice, which has proven to
be true. Dr. Daoud is a member of the IAOMT (International Academy
of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) and practices their protocol (www.iaomt.org).
He and his wife of five years have been spending
most of their “spare time” remodeling and landscaping the home they
recently purchased. He enjoys watching the Red Wings, the Pistons,
soccer and is an avid reader.

Dr. Mann maintained a private dental practice for more than twenty five
years, first in Detroit and later in Lansing, Michigan. He was born in
Detroit and is the eldest of 9 children. His father was a physician and
his mother was a nurse. Of his siblings, four are nurses, one a
physician, two are in the dental field and two are in the automotive
industry in management.
Dr. Mann attended Wayne State University majoring in graphic art and
pre-med. He graduated from the University of Detroit Dental School in 1978
and was Senior class Vice President. He frequently volunteers overseas in
such places as Ecuador, Belize, Guatemala, and most recently Honduras and
Mexico.
Dr. Mann met Dr. Dahl in the 1980's and discovered that they both had much
in common and shared an awareness of the holistic view in the delivery of
dental services. They have attended IAOMT meetings together and in 2006 Dr.
Dahl asked Dr. Mann to join the practice.
Dr. Mann is an avid reader, and has restored homes, cars, and smiles. He is
a Master Gardener, with special interest in medicinal and edible herbs and
flowers. He is most proud of his beautiful wife and their three almost
adult children.

Philip Dahl was born in Oxford, Michigan and attended
seminary school for part of his early education. He graduated from
the University of Michigan dental school in 1978. His first practice was
in Ann Arbor. He sold that practice and opened a practice in Lansing
and
then one in Stockbridge. As the practice grew he found it difficult to
commute to Lansing so he sold that office and has worked solely out of
the Stockbridge office since 1989.
His spiritual, peaceful nature and calming ways have made
him a success in this field. Patients have come from all around the country
to have him help them with their dental needs. His approach to your
treatment starts with patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete
and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and
treatment options with you.
He met his wife, who is also from Michigan, when they
were both working at a summer camp in New York state. They have been
married 35 years and have 13 children ranging from ages 11 to 34.
He is currently on a leave of absence.
